Sunday Services
Jesus Community meets at 9:00am every Sunday at 601 W. 29th Street in Lawrence.
Our services include children’s ministry, interactive worship, intentional prayer for Lawrence and the global community, and a sermon from our pastor.
In months that include a 5th Sunday, instead of our regular service, we will practice what we have heard for the last three months through our Serve Sundays.

Discipleship Groups
Discipleship groups meet and do real, authentic life together. They may go through a Bible study following the sermon series, answer small group questions, worship in song, or go through a book study together. Discipleship groups will follow up with each other about their action practice from the weekly sermon, they will pray together, and they will play together!
In doing authentic life together, discipleship groups will be more than a small group. They will be the people that show up at your kids baseball game, they will bring you meals when a family member is in the hospital, they will be your game night buds, and they will pray with you when your marriage is struggling. Our discipleship groups are committed to radical hospitality and authenticity because we believe that authentic community centered around Jesus blesses others.
Serve Sundays
Once a quarter, we will serve in the community doing the Gospel instead of hearing the Gospel!
During the summer, Serve Sundays may look like holding church in a park and handing out hot dogs, serving with Habitat for Humanity, or doing various local service projects like helping install a ramp into an older community members home.
In the winter months, we may volunteer with local nonprofits, put together crisis care kits, or have a local community leader come educate us about a need in the community. For instance, a staff member from the Lawrence Community Shelter may come share about homelessness in Lawrence, how we can help, and how we can actively be the hands and feet of Jesus.
